Mayor Meier Attorney Rautenstraus Councilman Cussen TROUSIL REQUEST - OUTSIDE \TER AND SEWER TAP Mayor Meier Davis Holder - Representing Robert E. Trousil 5/4/82 Page -5- Commented to Mr, Tennessen that he wished to review the letter of non~,conformance sent to him by the City Attorney, and some of its r~nifications, specifically regard- ing having services available to all resi- dents. Advised that Mr. Tennessen was correct when he stated cable television service would be made available, under the agreement, to all apartment units. If Council gives veri-: fication that every potential unit was contacted prior to the deadline date, then it was his opinion that there was basic compliance. Stated he would like to have firm dates on when the other services to the library, availibility of the portable equipment, and local origination equipment would be on line. Mr. Tennessen agreed to include these dates in his memo to council. Director Rupp had presented Mayor and council- members with a memo explaining everything that had transpired with Boulder County relative to this request. It was his recom- mendation that the request be denied and the County be notified of our concerns so that further industrial development will not take place in our designated open space area be- tween Louisville and Lafayette. Commented that he and Councilman Leary re- quested a letter be sent to the County ex- pressing our concerns - had the letter been sent? Rupp replied it had not as he felt it maybe premature, until Council had voted on the request. Stated that after his last appearance be- fore Council he left with a feeling that perhaps he had not represented his client very well. It seemed to him that he had created the impression they were some kind of cartel coming into Louisville to upset the entire Planning Dept.; he wished Council to know that Mr. Trousil is a local man.
