Award APPROVAL OF THE BILLS ADJOURNMENT 4/6/82 Page -13- Advised that on March 31, 1982 Director Hioco attended an American Cancer Society Crusade reception and presented a key for the Chairmanship to Rich Trevino, President of the Jaycees, for the second year. Stating as of April 1st he resigned his position as Louisville's representative on the Boulder County Fair Board. The new representative is to be designated by the Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Meier was contacted by a resident whose daughter had an accident on South Boulder Road and Jefferson, and he was requesting the status of this project. City Engineer :Blanchard advised he met with Public Service Co. and Centennial Engineering and would make a presentation at the next Council meeting. He advised the deadline is set for August 15, 1982 and from all indications this will be met for installation before school starts. The median islands will be constructed prior to the August 15th date. Mayor Meier, Director Rioco, and Administrator Wurl at 9:00 A.M., April 7, 1982 will be presented a 'Tree City Proclamation by the House of Representatives, and at approxi- mately 11:00 A.M. of April 7th Governor Lamm will present them with the Tree City U.S.A. Award. City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the amount of $115,498.84. Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Fauson seconded that the bills be approved and checks issued for the same. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:29 P.M.
