If <br />the fees at the landfill are increased <br />sufficiently by the County Commissioners <br />the problem can be resolved. <br /> <br />Requested Director Rupp provide Council <br />with an up-date on the oil and gas drilling <br />within the City and what they have found. <br />Director Rupp reported he had heard mixed <br />comments about what they have discovered. <br />Councilwoman Horris inquired if the com- <br />panies had to give Rupp a finalized re- <br />port of their findings. <br />Rupp reported his department has been <br />monitoring the operations and to date <br />none have been finalized. <br /> <br />Councilwoman }furris had been contacted <br />by one of the people in her Ward asking to <br />whom the flowE~rs are sent, what they are <br />for, and how it is determined to whom they <br />are sent. <br />Administrator Wurl advised employees that <br />are hospitalized, or a member of council, <br />or their husband, or wife - flowers are <br />sent. Flmt7ers are also sent for funerals. <br /> <br />Reported the Consortium of Cities will <br />be meeting Harch 17, 1982 at 7:30 P.M. <br />in the Planning Commission Hearing Room, <br />West Wing of the Courthouse. He and <br />Councilman Leary will be attending and <br />invited other members of staff and council <br />to attend. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded the council comments and committee <br />reports be accepted and placed on file. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />In the absence of City Treasurer Hesson, <br />Chief Accountant Caranci read the bills <br />in the amount of $105,935.34. <br />Councilman Cwmmings moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded the bills be approved and checks <br />issued for the same. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Hotion Carried unanimously. <br />
