<br />Hayor Meier <br /> <br />Fireside Mine <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS <br /> <br />AJOURNMENT <br /> <br />2/16/82 <br /> <br />Page -11- <br /> <br />Addressed his inquiry to City Engineer <br />Blanchard as to the status of the repair <br />yet to be donl= by Storer Cable TV to the <br />streets. <br />Blanchard advised their department has a <br />punch list for this repair and the Storer <br />people advised they will do this when the <br />weather gets warmer. <br /> <br />Meier had received a letter from Jacobs/Kahan <br />stating they have tried to deal with the Fire- <br />side Mine - have contracted to have the mine <br />filled and weather permitting should be com- <br />pleted the week of February 22, 1982. <br />Councilwoman Morris requested a copy of the <br />letter. <br /> <br />Advised that the city is eligible for some <br />Urban Systems money - possibly $25,000 that <br />could be spent on South Boulder Road or Hiway <br />42; he also advised it was on a first come <br />first serve basis and requested staff con- <br />tact the Highvvay Dept. and submit our re- <br />quest as soon as possible. <br />Engineer Blanchard stated he had contacted <br />the Highway Dept. and was advised they had <br />a waiting list backlogged approximately 2 <br />years so were not adding any projects. <br /> <br />Administrator Wur1 stated the Urban Systems <br />money was a new project for which the city <br />just became eligible. Blanchard to call <br />the Highway Dept. <br /> <br />Councilman CUTIlmings moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded the council comments be accepted <br />and placed on file. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the <br />amount of $84,.973.46. <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded the bills be approved and checks <br />written for the same. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded the meeting be adjourned. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:04 P.M. <br />
