Hayor Meier Fireside Mine Councilman Leary ACCEPTANCE OF COUNCIL COMMENTS APPROVAL OF THE BILLS AJOURNMENT 2/16/82 Page -11- Addressed his inquiry to City Engineer Blanchard as to the status of the repair yet to be donl= by Storer Cable TV to the streets. Blanchard advised their department has a punch list for this repair and the Storer people advised they will do this when the weather gets warmer. Meier had received a letter from Jacobs/Kahan stating they have tried to deal with the Fire- side Mine - have contracted to have the mine filled and weather permitting should be com- pleted the week of February 22, 1982. Councilwoman Morris requested a copy of the letter. Advised that the city is eligible for some Urban Systems money - possibly $25,000 that could be spent on South Boulder Road or Hiway 42; he also advised it was on a first come first serve basis and requested staff con- tact the Highvvay Dept. and submit our re- quest as soon as possible. Engineer Blanchard stated he had contacted the Highway Dept. and was advised they had a waiting list backlogged approximately 2 years so were not adding any projects. Administrator Wur1 stated the Urban Systems money was a new project for which the city just became eligible. Blanchard to call the Highway Dept. Councilman CUTIlmings moved, Councilman Fauson seconded the council comments be accepted and placed on file. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the amount of $84,.973.46. Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Cummings seconded the bills be approved and checks written for the same. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded the meeting be adjourned. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:04 P.M.
