Motion
carried 6-0.

Councilman Leary requested the press print
these dates so the public will be aware of
the meetings.
Mayor Meier instructed Hark Stodder of the
Louisville Times to please print these dates.

Administrator \.Jurl advised after the last
Study Session councilmembers had some technical
questions regarding the oil drilling and
Mr. DiGrappa was contacted to address some
of the concerns.
Director Rupp advised that a member of the
Boulder County Health Dept. met with council-
members Leary and Morris and some staff members
on the site, but the Teton representatives
were not present.

Tom DiGrappa requested questions from the
council members relative to their concerns.

Councilwoman Morris reported the two most
northern well sites on Davidson Mesa are
within 160' of the ditches used for the
City's water supply. Both of which are
uphill-her concern was in the event there
was any kind of spill our water supply would
be effected. The Boulder County Health rep-
resentative stated bentonite was the sealing
property used to prevent seepage, and re-
quested Mr. DiGrappa to address these concerns.

Bernel stated he saw no problem with the up-
hill sites as their reserve pit would be dug
to a level below the ditch eliminating the
spill concern.
