Question <br />called for. All in favor. l1otion carried. <br />Mayor Meier presented Mr. Domenico with <br />his resolution and thanked him for his <br />many years of service. <br />Mr. Domenico thanked everyone and wished <br />the new council the best of luck. <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera moved that the selection <br />of Mayor Pro-tern be by secret ballot. <br />Seconded by Councilman Cummings. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary nominated Herman Fauson <br />for Mayor Pro.-tem. Seconded by Council- <br />woman Morris. <br />There were no other nominations. Council- <br />man Cummings moved that the nominations be <br />closed. Councilman Cussen moved that Herman <br />Fauson be accepted as j."Iayor Pro-tem by this <br />Council by acclamation. Seconded by Council- <br />man. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br />Councilman Fauson thanked Council for their <br />vote of confidence. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier appointed Don Cummings as Chair- <br />man of the Finance Committee - 2 members <br />Herman Fauson and Mike Cussen. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier appointed himself as the member <br />and Councilman Cummings as alternate. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier appointed Councilman Fauson as <br />the member representative and alternate <br />Councilman Leary. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier appointed George Brown <br />Donald Shonkwiler <br /> <br />for 2-year terms. <br />6-year term <br /> <br />Eugene Caranci <br /> <br />Mayor Meier appointed Marge Lazuk, Chairman <br />Frank Rizzi Member <br />2-year term Gene Tavoni Member <br /> <br />Mayor Meier advised that a later date the <br />by-laws of the Tree Board will be changed <br />and additional members will be added. <br />
