<br />LIBRARY BOARD <br /> <br />COUNCIL APPOINTHENTS <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />CURT RAUTENSTRAUS <br /> <br />PROSECUTING ATTORNEY <br />BRUCE JOSS <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING CO~1ISSION <br />2 - 2 - YEAR TEB11S <br /> <br />ROBER HINSBERGER & RICHARD <br />LUCE APPOINTED <br /> <br />1/11/82 <br /> <br />Page -4- <br /> <br />He then appointed Councilwoman Morris <br />Councilman Ferrera <br />2 year term Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Mayor Heier, w"ith approval of Council, <br />appointed Tim Crook for a 5 -year term <br />and Nancy Gauss 2- year term (com- <br />pletion of a 5 year term.) <br /> <br />Councilman Cmmnings moved that all Council <br />appointments be made by secret ballot. <br />Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Curt Rautenstraus <br />be appointed City Attorney. Seconded by <br />Councilman Curmnings. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 6-0 <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings moved that Bruce Joss <br />be retained as Prosecuting Attorney for <br />the City of Louisville. Seconded by Council- <br />man Cussen. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen stated that the Attorneys <br />were requested to submit a letter, and at <br />no point did Council state what they really <br />wanted nor what was expected of them. He <br />then read a very clever poem, for which Mayor <br />Meier thanked him. <br /> <br />Mayor Heier stated that interviews were held <br />for applications and these appointments would <br />be made by secret ballot. <br />Councilman Leary moved that all applicants <br />be placed in the nomination. Seconded by <br />Councilman Cussen. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tern Fauson read the votes of the <br />secret ballot and City Clerk Mudrock tallied <br />them. <br />The tally of the vote was as follows: <br />Robert Hi.nsberger 4 <br />Richard Luce 4 <br />Vivian Dhieux 3 <br />Duane Elrod 2 <br />Charles Hoffman 1 <br />Robert Hinsberger and Richard Luce appointed <br />to the Planning & Zoning Commission-2 year term. <br />
