L6
Louisf,ille
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
City council
Study Session Summary
February 22, 2022
Electronic Meeting
9:30 AM
Mayor Stolzmann called the meeting to order at 9:30 am.
City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann
Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney
Councilmember Kyle Brown
Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson
Councilmember Deb Fahey
Councilmember Chris Leh
Councilmember Maxine Most
Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager
Meredyth Muth, City Clerk
City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery.
• The County went through a standard RFP process for the Personal Property
Debris Removal contract. That process allows for a 10-day appeal process for
any company who did not get the contract. That 10-day period ends today and
the County is expecting some appeals. This may hold up the process to issue
the contract and notice to proceed. We were hoping to have debris removal
underway by March 1, but that may be held up.
• The golf staff is working on a program to help residents find some relaxation in
these times. We have asked other departments to also see if there are some
ways like this we can help residents.
• Planning held a Community Recovery meeting last night to start to facilitate
conversations about how neighborhoods can jointly rebuild and what help the
Planning Department can offer. People had many questions about debris
removal and there seems to be lots of angst about the process.
• The letter of support from Council to residents is in the mail.
• Hydromulching in Coal Creek Ranch, Enclave, Hillside, and Cornerstone is
essentially complete. A few sections of Centennial and Trial Ridge are pending
due to the weather. Some homes have not been included as owners still want to
sift.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
