City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />February 22, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Councilmember Most stated she and Councilmember Fahey attended a neighborhood <br />meeting yesterday. There was a lot of confusion about what the FEMA reimbursement <br />for debris removal means to people and their insurance coverage. Many people are <br />saying if they can't get their foundations done in the coordinated process they may do <br />debris removal on their own. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated the City and Superior have submitted an application to FEMA <br />for local economic recovery assistance and we are asking for a quick review of the <br />application. <br />Councilmember Most would like more targeted communications. <br />City Manager Durbin stated staff is working on a joint message from Superior and the <br />County on debris removal saying exactly where we are and what is coming next. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney agreed people are looking for more certainty and it is just hard <br />to give people that, we simply don't have the answers right now. <br />Adjourned 9:49 am. <br />Submitted 2122122 Meredyth Muth <br />
