Caleb Dickinson
Councilmember Deb Fahey
Councilmember Maxine Most
Absent: Councilmember Chris Leh
Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager
Meredyth Muth, City Clerk
City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery.
• Debris removal continues to be a priority.
• The Planning Department has seen an uptick in demolition permits from private
contractors. They have issued 46 and have another 50 currently under review.
• Works continues on the scope of work for debris removal contract. There are a
lot of questions on such topics as how will flatwork will be addressed, how will
landscaping be handled, what can property owners expect, how can people opt
out for things like patios, etc. We are working on how to communicate those
details.
• Flatwork that was not fire damaged is not eligible for reimbursement so we need
to determine how do we segregate that during removal so as not to jeopardize
FEMA reimbursement.
• The engineering team is meeting with Coal Creek Ranch homeowners regarding
the retaining walls.
• There is a protest scheduled for Saturday at the Arboretum/Skate Park to protest
the law suit filed against the County regarding the debris removal contract.
• We are close to wrapping up the damage inventory for our public property. This
is the first step in the FEMA reimbursement process.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
