City Council
Study Session Summary
March 10, 2022
o For flatwork we are working on how to pay for things that won't be FEMA
reimbursable. We want to have one contractor remove everything and not
make people bring in a second contractor if something they want removed
is not reimbursable, but details need to be figured out..
o It is our understanding all trees will be inspected by an arborist and
tagged either for removal or saving but again the details need to be
figured out.
We are looking at building permit fee revenues. Those revenues will only be
used to cover the cost of permit administration and inspections; it will not be a
profit center.
Mayor Pro Tern Maloney supported a special meeting if needed to approve the debris
contract IGA. He noted residents are ready to go and we need to not be an impediment
to the process.
Mayor Pro Tern Maloney stated residents are asking about the length of time before a
building permit expires. People don't want to have a permit expires before a project is
complete due to supply chain issues. We need to be sensitive to that.
Adjourned 9:43 am.
Submitted 3110122 Meredyth Muth
