Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deb Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. <br />Personal Property Debris Removal <br />o On the agenda at tonight's council meeting is 1st reading on the debris <br />removal IGA with Boulder County and Superior. It will spells out how <br />funding will work and what will be the Louisville portion of expenditures. <br />We still need to determine the not to exceed line for costs; it was going to <br />be 12.5% for local match, but with additional Federal funding it will now be <br />5%. <br />o We are still working to determine how to handle the removal of items that <br />are ineligible for FEMA reimbursement such as flat work and trees. <br />o There will be an update on the IGA at tonight's meeting and Council will <br />fully consider and vote on the IGA at the March 21 special meeting. <br />o For those that have opted out of the joint debris removal program the <br />Building Department has issued 70 demo permits for debris removal and <br />35 more are currently under review. <br />o The first hearing on the DIGS lawsuit is set for Friday, March 18. If the <br />County prevails the debris removal contract will move forward <br />immediately. If it does not, we don't know how long things will be held up. <br />Communications <br />o We brought in a crisis communications team to review our <br />communications, the website, and our processes.
