 itiyf
L6 Lcouisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
City Council
Study Session Summary
March 22, 2022
Electronic Meeting
9:30 AM
Mayor Stolzmann called the meeting to order at 9:30 am.
City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann
Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney
Councilmember Deb Fahey
Councilmember Chris Leh
Councilmember Maxine Most
City Council Absent: Councilmember Kyle Brown
Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson
Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager
Meredyth Muth, City Clerk
City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery.
• Durbin stated these study sessions can probably change to once per week
starting April 1.
• He reported that Sergeant John Brooks of the Police Department noticed a
burglary in progress at 3 am on Saturday at a home still standing in the burn
area. He was able to stop the robbery and recovered all the stolen items. The
Police Department is now looking for person of interest.
• City Council approved the IGA with for the Personal Property Debris Removal
(PPDR) contract last night. That IGA and the PPDR contract goes to the Boulder
County Commissioners to BOCC today for consideration.
• As that contract will be done, the County will host a webinar early next week
have for homeowners on how the debris removal process will work. Information
from the County should be available soon.
• Two lots have completed debris removal with private contractors. Staff will go
take photos so people can compare to what a private removal will look like
compared to PPDR program. The PPDR won't be as pristine a clearing so it will
be good to have the info so people can understand the comparison when
deciding to opt out or not.
• Coal Creek will have all 18 holes open at this weekend and the driving range
mat is expected to be installed this weekend as well.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
