It may be a difficult roll out but we will do whatever
we can to keep it running smoothly.
• We are working on the removal of what has been determined to be high hazard
homes. Some may not be covered by FEMA but we want them removed as soon
as we can for safety reasons. 3 have FEMA approval, 10 are likely ineligible for
the FEMA reimbursement.
• 222 Demo permits issued for debris removal with 24 lots cleared. Going forward
that number will also include demo permits in the PPDR program.
• Staging and preparation for construction is underway. In construction zones will
be be painting a 20-foot drive lane in the street for access and emergency
purposes. People will be able to use the areas outside the lane for construction
storage.
• The damage inventory for public property was submitted to FEMA, now working
with FEMA on field inspections and moving towards completions of the project
worksheets required for reimbursement. Reimbursement on street damage may
be an issue.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
