City <br />L of <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, March 25, 2022 <br />Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the electronic meeting to order at 1:32 <br />PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most <br />(joined @ 1:39 PM). Also present were City Manager Jeff Durbin, Economic <br />Vitality Director Megan Pierce, and Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown. <br />Two members of the public were present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as amended. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of February 18, 2022. The motion was seconded <br />by Chair Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Strategic Plan Action #2-3: Business Satisfaction <br />Survey: Director Pierce gave an overview of the Business Satisfaction Survey <br />which is targeted to be distributed by May 1. Subsequent surveys will take place <br />every other year and will be administered by staff. Director Pierce asked for <br />feedback regarding the survey tool and process. <br />Councilmember Dickinson questioned whether responses could be tabulated by <br />location. Director Pierce confirmed that the demographic questions in the <br />survey would allow for this to be done by staff, but there could be a need to hire <br />a consultant in the future for additional analytic work. <br />Councilmember Dickinson commented that it's important to gather feedback on <br />issues that are within the City's control. He also wondered whether the current <br />version of the survey includes all issues that could be relevant within the next <br />two to five years.
