On March 30, staff were able to make phone contact with the individual who <br />had placed the campsite on Open Space. The individual, who is homeless, <br />requested more time to remove a few items he might still need within a tent at <br />the site. He agreed to complete this by April 10, and agreed that staff could <br />immediately remove all items outside the tent. <br />c. Six staff members, including the two new seasonal employees, cleaned up <br />approximately three pickup truck loads of material. In order to safely carry out <br />cleanup, staff constructed a temporary bridge over Coal Creek, which they <br />removed upon completing their work. The cleanup project took about one hour <br />(see pictures at end). <br />d. Staff will return to the site after April 10 to remove any remaining material. <br />2. Ranger staff are working with the Police Department to investigate a series of graffiti <br />incidents that have taken place on City -owned property. The ranger has completed <br />several case reports and collected and booked evidence for use by Police investigators <br />17 <br />
