cityof LOUISVILLE REVITALIZATION
Louisville COMMISSION
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
SUBJECT: FACgADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM OUTREACH
DATE: APRIL 6, 2022
PRESENTED BY: MEGAN E. PIERCE, ECONOMIC VITALITY DIRECTOR
SUMMARY:
As part of the Fagade Improvement Program launch on March 1, staff sent out an e-
blast to all Louisville businesses and included information in the monthly business e-
newsletter. Staff considers this a successful launch since five applications have been
received to -date. The Louisville Revitalization Commission (LRC) has expressed
interest in reaching out directly to businesses and commercial property owners who
may be eligible for participation in the program.
Staff has prepared materials to assist with this outreach. Attachment #1 attempts to
divide the Highway 42 Urban Renewal Area into five different zones. This way
Commissioners can volunteer to contact and visit with potential applicants throughout
the Hwy 42 Urban Renewal area. Staff has also developed a contact list to support the
mapped zones once Commissioners are ready to begin outreach.
It will be important for Commissioners to employ the application and program materials
so that potential applicants receive consistent information. Staff can be available to
attend initial Commissioner outreach discussions to help facilitate the information
sharing and answer questions that arise.
ATTACHMENTS:
• Attachment #1: Fagade Improvement Program Outreach Map
Agenda Packet P. 8
