Todd doubted that we have such information. <br />Seth volunteered that PACE has worked with many local <br />businesses to save money through sustainability initiatives. <br />Todd volunteered that Xcel also provides rebates to local <br />businesses, but he noted that we could only obtain aggregate <br />information about these Xcel rebates. Lev wondered if we <br />could incentivize customers to patronize Green businesses, <br />perhaps with vouchers from the City. Megan wondered if <br />either PACE or Xcel have provided assistance in making any <br />business processes, like manufacturing, more energy <br />efficient. Todd thought that energy efficiency efforts have <br />probably not occurred in such processes. Todd suggested <br />that we probably want to concentrate on amplifying PACE <br />and Xcel's existing efforts. Seth volunteered that non -Green <br />businesses are probably most interested in cost savings from <br />sustainability initiatives rather than sustainability in and of <br />itself. Tiffany suggested a tour of Community Food Share for <br />other business owners to showcase its sustainability <br />initiatives. Megan wondered if we could produce a short case <br />study about Community Food Share or any other businesses, <br />perhaps with information on the effect of sustainability <br />upgrades.
