City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 1, 2022 <br />Page 11 of 12 <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney stated June 30tn seems quick and suggested changing it to <br />September 30tn <br />Amendment: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney offered a friendly amendment to change the end <br />date to September 30, 2022. Councilmember Brown accepted the friendly amendment. <br />Mayor Stolzmann expressed a desire to give those that have opted out of coordinated <br />debris removal a goal of six months so the removal doesn't drag on. <br />Councilmember Dickinson asked how long a demo permit is valid. Zuccaro responded <br />work needs to begin in 180 days or the permit will expire. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5, SERIES 2022 — A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE WARD <br />BOUNDARIES FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO TO CONFORM TO <br />CONSTITUTIONAL APPORTIONMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />Clerk City Clerk Meredyth Muth stated the City Charter requires that following each <br />federal decennial census, the boundaries of wards are to be revised so that the <br />population of the wards shall not vary more than five percent from each other. She <br />presented three options for Council to consider. All of the options would put the wards in <br />compliance with the population requirement. <br />Public Comments — None. <br />There was a brief discussion regarding the different options and preferences of maps. <br />Option B was recommended as it was the closest in population distribution equity. <br />Motion: Councilmember Brown moved to approve option B, Mayor Pro Tern Maloney <br />seconded <br />Vote on the motion passed 6-1 with Councilmember Dickinson voting no. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1821, SERIES 2021 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A TENTH <br />AMENDMENT TO THE CENTENNIAL VALLEY GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO <br />ALLOW A PRIVATE SCHOOL USE AT 168 CENTENNIAL PARKWAY — 1ST READING <br />— SET PUBLIC HEARING 2/15/22 <br />MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item by title. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved <br />to approve; seconded by Councilmember Fahey <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />
