• "Pollinator.org" suggests late June for Pollinator Week. Lots of opportunity for a <br />Louisville festival which could include a, parade, bee costumes, etc. <br />• Discussion around sending Council a memo to move forward, proposed collaboration <br />invitation to Open Space and Sustainability Advisory Boards. <br />• Discussion around using pollinator week as a community outreach, education, etc. <br />especially around gardens and what grows well in Louisville. <br />• "Bee City" designation requires Council to adopt a resolution, send in an application and <br />pay an approximately $200 fee. <br />12. Agenda Items for Next Meeting <br />• Shelly Alm via email: Future agenda item: I would like to see us revisit subdivision <br />entries that have defaulted to city maintenance mostly due to defunct HOA's. A basic <br />plan was outlined with Dean and PPLAB subcommittee around 3 yr ago. As we update <br />medians, it seems like renovating these entries would also play a big role in helping <br />reduce staff maintenance hours and improve the look of several areas around town that <br />have overgrown or dying plant materials, etc. Again, wondering if some of these areas <br />affected by the fires might be receiving money from outside resources, so I feel it would <br />be important to have a plan in place.
