Lc�tyoJ <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, May 20, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the hybrid meeting to order at 1:37 PM <br />for in -person attendees, as well as those participating virtually. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair <br />Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. Also present <br />were Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce and Acting City Manager Megan <br />Davis. Three members of the public were present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Most made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Most made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of April 22, 2022. The motion was seconded by <br />Chair Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: No comments. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Strategic Plan Action #2-6: Business Forum <br />Outcomes: Director Pierce gave a summary of the April 21 Business Forum. <br />She also discussed ideas for the next iteration of the forum and asked for <br />feedback from the Economic Vitality Committee (EVC). <br />Chair Dickinson opened his comments by stating that City Council, the EVC, <br />and staff all need to have a bigger presence at future events. Councilmember <br />Most commented that there should be thought given to ensuring that the venue <br />is conducive to the event format. She continued that consideration should be <br />given to how the event lines up with the strategic plan. <br />Councilmember Fahey agreed that more one-on-one interaction and more of a <br />spotlight on the City would both be helpful.
