City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 15, 2022 <br />Page 7of13 <br />Public Comments <br />KT McCoy, 977 Arapahoe Circle, stated it would be nice if there were grant funds <br />available for those who lost homes in the fire. <br />Mayor Stolzmann thanked Ms. McCoy for her comment. She stated Council is working on <br />funding for a grant program for those that have lost their homes however the Historic <br />Preservation Grant is a dedicated tax that voters passed and that funding may only be <br />used for historic properties in town. <br />Motion: Mayor Pro Tem Maloney moved to approve Resolution No. 10, Series 2022, <br />seconded by Councilmember Fahey. <br />Vote: Motion carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />Motion: Councilmember Dickinson moved to approve Resolution No. 11, Series 2022, <br />seconded by Councilmember Brown. <br />Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1821, SERIES 2021 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A TENTH <br />AMENDMENT TO THE CENTENNIAL VALLEY GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO <br />ALLOW A PRIVATE SCHOOL USE AT 168 CENTENNIAL PARKWAY — 2ND READING <br />— PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily Camera 2/6/22) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and asked for disclosures; seeing none she opened <br />the public hearing. <br />Principal Planner Lisa Richie stated this is a request for the 10th Amendment to the <br />Centennial Valley General Development Plan specific to 168 Centennial Parkway, Lots 3 <br />and 4 of Parcel G. The subject property is 4.15 acres, zoned PCZD. A PUD was <br />approved in 2016 for a 59,629 sf building for research and office uses. This applicant <br />occupies one of the vacant tenant spaces in the building. The application is asking to <br />allow a private school use for Parcel G-3. Private schools are currently not allowed in the <br />GDP. The request is not currently in conflict with any existing uses. <br />Public Comments — None <br />Councilmember Fahey asked if placing a school here would affect any restaurant liquor <br />licenses. Clerk Muth stated the distance requirement from a school only applies to liquor <br />stores not restaurants. <br />The applicant stated they had entered into a lease for 10,000 sf of space in the building <br />and were going to make interior changes to the building, but no exterior changes. <br />
