The non -sworn support positions of Law Enforcement Technician, Code <br />Enforcement Officer and Secretary will free patrol officers to devote more hours <br />to patrol. The full-time Secretary position will be added in July of 1993. The <br />.75 Code Enforcement Officer will be added in May of 1993. <br />* In order to meet increased reference needs at the Library, a half-time <br />library assistant was added, at a cost of $6,160. <br />* Modifications of existing City facilities for compliance with the Americans With <br />Disabilities Act, $50,000. <br />* Contract maintenance of entry features, right-of-ways, and medians, $24,500. <br />* Contract maintenance of native grass for open space areas, $18,400. <br />* Household hazardous waste clean up days, $4,500 <br />* Funding educational programming of the Resource Conservation Advisory Board, <br />$2,000. <br />* Facility improvements to the Historical Museum, $8,170. <br />* Removal of dead trees in parks and cemetery, $29,900. <br />* Construction of salt storage pad for storing and stockpiling sand/salt mixtures, <br />$10,000. <br />* Purchase of steam vehicle washer, $4,000 <br />* Purchase of a monitoring system to provide automatic fuel storage leak tank <br />detection, $12,000. <br />Special Revenue Funds: <br />The City maintains three Special Revenue Funds: The Combined Capital Fund, Cemetery <br />Perpetual Fund, and the Conservation Trust Fund. <br />The Conservation Trust Fund was established to account for Lottery proceeds from the <br />Colorado State Lottery. Lottery funds are restricted for use in the acquisition, development, and <br />maintenance of park and recreational sites. In 1993 this fund will provide for land acquisition <br />in the amount of $100,000 and park enhancements of $50,000. <br />v <br />
