The city has
about 275 days of sunshine a year
and when heavy snowfalls occur,
they are usually followed by sunny,
dry days. To Louisville residents,
this means mild days throughout the
year to play golf, catch a round of
tennis, enjoy an afternoon in the
park, or walk the many miles of trails
throughout the city.
FY90 FY91
Demographics
FY 92
FY 93
Housing
Louisville residents display pride in
their community. Well kept
neighborhoods, treelined streets, and
carefully planned open space form a
transition between the old and new
communities of Louisville. Bike trails
and walkways link the various
neighborhoods. From many
locations, residents enjoy spectacular
views of the Rocky Mountains to the
west and vast plains to the east. The
city has approximately 5,000 housing
units, single family, condominiums,
townhouses and apartments. Prices
for new and previously owned single
family homes range from mid
$100,000 to above $325,000 with
about 80-85% of all homes owner -
occupied.
FY94
R4 cation
-- I -using
FY95
FY %
600
500
2
400 0
N
300 2
200
co
100
0
2
