City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 2, 2022 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1839, SERIES 2022 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />17.76 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING INCLUSIONARY <br />HOUSING REQUIREMENTS —1ST READING — SET PUBLIC HEARING 9/6/22 <br />MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item by title and moved to approve the <br />ordinance on first reading; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Maloney. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS (Home Rule Charter <br />Section 5-2(c) and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a)) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the executive session. <br />City Attorney Kelly noted the items to be discussed and the authority under which the <br />Council can go into executive session. She stated Councilmember Leh is requesting the <br />executive session for the purpose of discussing real property acquisitions concerning a <br />property in Louisville at 115 West Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other <br />value estimates and strategy. <br />City Clerk Muth read Section 2.90.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code, which outlines <br />the topics permitted for discussion in an executive session. <br />City Attorney Kelly stated the authority to conduct this executive session is in the <br />Louisville Home Rule Charter Section 5-2(c) which authorizes an executive session for <br />the purpose of discussing real property acquisitions concerning a property in Louisville <br />at with a right of first 115 West Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other value <br />estimates and strategy. Authorization is also allowed by the Colorado Open meetings <br />law in C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a). <br />MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann moved to go into executive session for the purpose of <br />discussing real property acquisitions concerning a property in Louisville at 115 West <br />Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy and that <br />the executive session include Planning Director Rob Zuccaro, Parks & Open Space <br />Director Adam Blackmore, and City Attorney Kathleen Kelly. Councilmember Dickinson <br />seconded the motion. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br />Council adjourned to executive session at 6:06 pm. The Council meeting reconvened at <br />6:36 pm. <br />
