City Council Meeting Minutes August 2, 2022 Page 3 of 6 ORDINANCE NO. 1839, SERIES 2022 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.76 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING INCLUSIONARY HOUSING REQUIREMENTS —1ST READING — SET PUBLIC HEARING 9/6/22 MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item by title and moved to approve the ordinance on first reading; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Maloney. VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. EXECUTIVE SESSION REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS (Home Rule Charter Section 5-2(c) and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a)) Mayor Stolzmann introduced the executive session. City Attorney Kelly noted the items to be discussed and the authority under which the Council can go into executive session. She stated Councilmember Leh is requesting the executive session for the purpose of discussing real property acquisitions concerning a property in Louisville at 115 West Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy. City Clerk Muth read Section 2.90.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code, which outlines the topics permitted for discussion in an executive session. City Attorney Kelly stated the authority to conduct this executive session is in the Louisville Home Rule Charter Section 5-2(c) which authorizes an executive session for the purpose of discussing real property acquisitions concerning a property in Louisville at with a right of first 115 West Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy. Authorization is also allowed by the Colorado Open meetings law in C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a). MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann moved to go into executive session for the purpose of discussing real property acquisitions concerning a property in Louisville at 115 West Cherry Street but only as to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy and that the executive session include Planning Director Rob Zuccaro, Parks & Open Space Director Adam Blackmore, and City Attorney Kathleen Kelly. Councilmember Dickinson seconded the motion. VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. Council adjourned to executive session at 6:06 pm. The Council meeting reconvened at 6:36 pm.
