Councilman DelPizzo Councilman Brown Marvin Sparn APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT TO SERVE POW WOW UTILITIES BY THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINIS- TRATOR'S REPORT 6/16/81 Page 11 Stated he wished to discuss the utility services to POW WOW with the City of Lafayette but was not in favor of any of the other portions of the agreement, especially the emergency water hook-up of the two cities. Suggested that two separate agreements be written .- one serving the POW WOW with utilities and a second agreement to con- sider items 4,5, & 6. He was in disfavor with the total agreement as presented. In reply to council's concern relative to small children having access to the lake water which will be used for the livestock and landscaping, he stated the water would be pumped from the lake directly to the watering tanks in the holding pens during the day before any of the events take place. After discussion between Council and Mr. Sparn, it was the general consensus of Mayor and Council that they were in agreement with the water and sewer provisions to the POW WOW by the City of Lafayette at a savings of $60,000; however they were in disfavor with the remainder of the agreement and wished to discuss this portion further. Councilman DelPizzo moved that council approve the agreement excluding items 4, 5, & 6 and have Administrator Wurl make arrangments to discuss these items with the City of Lafayette at a later date. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Roll call vote: Fauson Cummings Brown DelPizzo Domenico Motion carried 5-0. Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes. Councilman Fauson moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconaed by Councilman DelPizzo. All in favor. Motion carried.
