<br />RESOLUTION #9 - GARY CARNIVAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10 - INDUSTRIAL <br />REVENUE BOND - DR. BENDER <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 11 - CENTENNIAL <br />VALLEY I PHASES 2 & 3 FINAL PLAT <br /> <br />LOIS DRIVE <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo <br /> <br />.5/19/81 <br /> <br />Page - 11 - <br /> <br />Deferred to a later date. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the resolution in its <br />entirety. <br />Dr. John Bender was in the audience and <br />advised Council this proposal was presented <br />to Council by the Architect James Hillhouse <br />last smmner. His proposed plan is 6 months <br />construction time with construction to start <br />within the next 1-2 months. A contractor <br />has been selected and the request for <br />industrial bonds is an option to finance <br />the project. <br />Counci1~ln DelPizzo moved that Resolution <br />#10 - Industrial Revenue Bonds - Dr. Bender <br />be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Director John Rupp advised Council this <br />is the final plat located in the Centennial <br />Valley sub-division and involved Phases 2-3, <br />and made a slide presentation, stating it <br />was a 24% acre parcel. The slides showed <br />the vicinty, some of the construction that <br />was underway, lot sizes, street arrangement, <br />open space, South Park and would consist <br />of 105 single detached units. The area <br />around South Park will be fenced by the <br />developer. He stated some of the contraversy <br />at the Planning Commission was that American <br />Builders would be developing the entire parcel. <br />The plan now is that American Builders will <br />take 40 of the 105 sites. W.J.S. Corp. will <br />keep the remaining 65 sites. Slides were <br />shown of the developers Executive series <br />homes. <br />Councilman DelPizzo inquired if Lois Drive <br />would be extended thru this subdivision. <br />Director Rupp advised that it would not. <br />Expressed his opinion that Lois Drive should <br />be extended. Director Rupp advised there is <br />a tract that is being dedicated to the City <br />in the event that Lois Drive, at a later date <br />is extended the provision has been made. <br />Planning Commission recommended approval. <br />City Attorney Joss read the resolution in <br />its entirety. <br />
