<br />5/19/81 <br /> <br />Page - 15 - <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF <br />REPORT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Hotion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilman Domenico <br /> <br />Inquired of Administrator Wurl if he had <br />spoken to the Mayor of Superior regarding <br />a buffer zone.. Wurl to take care of it. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br />Weeds <br /> <br />Councilman Brown <br /> <br />Inquired of Director Hioco if the owner <br />of the lot at Lafayette and Lincoln had <br />been contacted regarding weeds. <br />Director Hioco advised that the owner of <br />the property had been contacted by the <br />Code Enforcement Officer and Mr. Hart <br />would cut the weeds. <br />Arts and Crafts Show will be held in <br />City Hall on May 30, 31, 1981 invited <br />Council to attend and see the talents <br />of local people. <br />Expressed his dismay at Council's vote <br />on this ordinance - to have the amendments <br />passed and the ordinance be defeated seemed <br />senseless. <br />Mayor Caranci also expressed his disappoint- <br />ment on this ordinance and again reprimanded <br />Council members - asked the attorney to <br />bring it back to the next meeting and hope- <br />fully there will be agreement on it. <br />Mayor CaJCanci stressed to Council before <br />there is a vote to publish an ordinance be <br />certain this is what they want so on second <br />reading it is not defeated because of the <br />costs of publication. <br />Thanked members for thier support. <br /> <br />Arts & Crafts Show <br /> <br />Ordinance 4f7l8 <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Welcomed George to Council and thanked <br />Engineer Blanchard for the quick response <br />in getting the stop sign placed at the <br />alley west of Front St. <br />Thanked ]~ike Randall for a good job as our <br />Planner- it is Broomfield's gain and our loss. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings. <br /> <br />Welcomed George Brown to council "it doesn't <br />get easier." <br />
