5/19/81 Page - 15 - ACCEPTANCE OF REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S Councilman Fauson moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question called for. All in favor. Hotion carried. COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Domenico Inquired of Administrator Wurl if he had spoken to the Mayor of Superior regarding a buffer zone.. Wurl to take care of it. Councilman Meier Weeds Councilman Brown Inquired of Director Hioco if the owner of the lot at Lafayette and Lincoln had been contacted regarding weeds. Director Hioco advised that the owner of the property had been contacted by the Code Enforcement Officer and Mr. Hart would cut the weeds. Arts and Crafts Show will be held in City Hall on May 30, 31, 1981 invited Council to attend and see the talents of local people. Expressed his dismay at Council's vote on this ordinance - to have the amendments passed and the ordinance be defeated seemed senseless. Mayor Caranci also expressed his disappoint- ment on this ordinance and again reprimanded Council members - asked the attorney to bring it back to the next meeting and hope- fully there will be agreement on it. Mayor CaJCanci stressed to Council before there is a vote to publish an ordinance be certain this is what they want so on second reading it is not defeated because of the costs of publication. Thanked members for thier support. Arts & Crafts Show Ordinance 4f7l8 Councilman Fauson Welcomed George to Council and thanked Engineer Blanchard for the quick response in getting the stop sign placed at the alley west of Front St. Thanked ]~ike Randall for a good job as our Planner- it is Broomfield's gain and our loss. Councilman Cummings. Welcomed George Brown to council "it doesn't get easier."
