ACCEPTANCE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT BLOCK PARTY REQUEST PERMISSION GRANTED CITY VEHICLES - POLICY Councilman Meier ADOPTION CITY VEHICLE POLICY MERIT LEASING - ALL VEHICLES APPROVAL 5/19/81 Page -14- about a 4% to 6% vacancy presently. Question called for on the motion. 5 Ayes. Councilman Meier Nay. Motion carried 5-1. Councilman Meier moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Each member of Council had a copy of a letter from 5 families on Harper & Canon Sts. requesting a block party for 6 graduates from Centaurus High School. Mayor Caranci and council members granted the requ,est - Mr. Wurl to notify people involved. Each member of Council had a copy of the City Vehicles Policy and Administrator Wurl requested approval. Requested of Chief Accountant Caranci to check reimbursement of mileage figure on print-out - 300% over. Councilman Fauson moved that Policy be adopted. Seconded Meier. Question called for. Motion carried. the City Vehicle by Councilman All in favor. Administrator Wurl advised this was the total amount of items that were called for bids - some police, some parks and recreation vehicles. There was one change on the police radios - should read 60 months in lieu of 36 months.- the amount for 60 months would be $846.80. The request now was instead of recommending GM leasing for parks & rec. vehicles - ~h~y have combined all these getting a better deal from Merit Leasing, was asking Council's approval of equipment items listed on the Merit Leasing proposal in the amount of $2,675.99 per month. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Merit Leasing be award,ed tne leasing contract for all equipment items. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0.
