<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAY 5, 1981 <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Fauson, Cummings, DelPizzo, Meier and Domenico. <br />Also present were City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City <br />Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development Rupp, Police Chief <br />Leesman, Director of Community Services Hioco, City Engineer Blanchard, <br />Chief Accmmtant Caranci, Planner Randall, and Acting City Clerk Hudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ITEMS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEJ.VIS <br />COUNCIL VACANCY - APPOINT- <br />MENT <br /> <br />George Brown Appointed <br />Councilman Ward I <br /> <br />M~RICAN LEGION - SPECIAL <br />EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />WITHDRAWN <br /> <br />FRANK HOCHEDER - ANNEXATION <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci and Council approved the <br />minutes of the regular meeting of April <br />21, 1981 as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings moved that the items <br />enclosed be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Each member of council had a copy of the <br />letters of interest to fill the vacancy. <br />Mayor Caranci. advised they were: <br />George Brown <br />Larry Allen <br />Michael Cussin <br />Charles King <br />Clifford Konold <br />Kirk Badger <br />All were in attendance except George <br />Brown who was out of town because of car <br />trouble. <br />A secret ballot was taken and Hayor Car- <br />anci informed Council the applicant re- <br />ceiving three votes would be appointed. <br />Administrator Wurl read the ballot <br />4 for George Brown and 1 for Kirk Badger. <br />George Brown to be sent a letter informing <br />him of his appointment and he will be <br />sworn in at the next regular meeting May <br />19, 1981. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl advised that the Ameri- <br />can Legion people requested this be with- <br />drawn with Council's permission. Council <br />agreed to cancel this request. <br /> <br />Each council member had a copy of letter <br />from Associated Land Consultants represen- <br />ting Frank Hocheder, Flora Heggam and <br />Josephine Camp requesting annexation and <br />zoning for their 80 acre parcel located <br />
