REALIGNMENT - SOUTH WATER RESTRICTIONS 5/5/81 Page - 12 - Advised this activity would be held May 6, 1981 - Start Planning Life's Aims Now.. It has much to do with young people gE~tting involved in the Community. It is an experiment and they are welcoming support from Council. On May 17, 1981 the St. Louis Catholic School will have their 75th celebration at the School Grounds - an old fashioned bazaar, carnival, food, a big auction of donated items, etc. They would appreciate your attendance. Thanked all the gentlemen who submitted letters of interest to fill the vacancy on Council. It was gratifying to find qualified people showing interest in our City. Requested that council members consider this item as a priority when a budget session is held. There had been a problem over the weekend which recurrs whenever it rains or snows. Directed his inquiry to City Engineer Blanchard - at this location some of the vehicles are using this alley to by- pass the Stop Sign at Pine St. This is creating a dust problem. Blanchard to check it. Requested this to see what had been spent in the mnount of $65,000 - $70,000 in the past year. Would like to have Mr. Williamson give him an explanation. Inquired of City Engineer Blanchard if any- thing had been done on Main St. realignment, south. Engineer Blanchard reported the report from the traffic counts should be compiled by next week. Hayor Caranci asked if watering restrictions were being considered. Administrator Wurl advised not at this time.
