<br />5/5/81 <br /> <br />Page - 11 - <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Inquired of Chief Leesman if the excessive <br />noise of car top speakers in the 800 block <br />of Jefferson had been solved. <br />Chief Leesman to check it. <br /> <br />LABOR DAY CARNIVAL <br /> <br />Couci1man Meier requested that a reputable <br />firm be hired for the carnival events <br />so that events of the past do not reoccur. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo <br /> <br />Reported a large hole in front of the <br />Mission Greens Development. <br />City Engineer Blanchard advised that a <br />water valve had to replaced and it was <br />to be filled in with asphalt. He would <br />check it.. <br />The water pressure on Jefferson is down. <br />Administrator Wur1 to have it checked. <br /> <br />WATER PRESSURE <br /> <br />CEMETERY LOTS - ATKINS <br /> <br />Requested that Mr. .wur1 check into cemetery <br />lots - Atkins family. <br /> <br />PROGRESS ON LAKE PARK <br /> <br />Inquired of Chief Leesman, how many police <br />cars are on duty on weekends? <br />Chief Leesman advised two. <br />He then inquired if there were any problems <br />covering the City with two cars. <br />The Chief advised it depended on the type <br />of calls. <br />Councilman Cunnings then suggested since <br />sunner is approaching, was there any <br />possibility of having 3 cars. He was <br />referring to the parties on Grant St. <br />Chief Leesman advised he would like to <br />discuss this with him. <br />Inquired of Director Hioco if Lake Park <br />would be completed for the June deadline. <br />Director Hioco advised that the survey <br />had been completed and a contract should <br />be forthcoming. There seems to be a pro- <br />blem going between the homes in the grade <br />work, but it is progressing. <br /> <br />Councilman Cllirunings <br />POLICE VEHICLES <br />
