Therefore, in his opinion was not a good alternative. Concurred with Councilman Heier stating that a tvvo year term was sufficient. Conrrnented on the remarks made by Council- man Meier as relates to appointments and agreed with this aspect. However, he supported staggered terms for continuity stating that the City is growing and there are many pending projects and continuity would be important in making decisions. If an entire new council is elected they would be unaware of the legal procedural points involved in the decision making, It was his opinion that time would be lost and there would be much repetition in the process. He also stated that perhaps Council should have some discussion and find out what the citizens of Louisville want to do about a referendum vote on terms.
