4/7/81

Page -4-

Councilman Meier

2. Parking ratio for no fixed seating in
a building will be 21 sq. ft. for one park-
ing spacE~.
3. Parking spaces located off the site must
be in the same zone or a zoning district
which is less restrictive.
4. Parking spaces should not be used to
park vehicles for advertising.
5. Yard and bulk requirements for new office
zone.
6. Relative to minor changes in the PUD
plan may be granted administrative approval
of the Director of Conrrnunity Development
without the necessity of a hearing before
Planning Conrrnission or City Council.
Requested more specific wording be incorpor-
ated in this section, rather than just minor
changes.
Director Rupp stated because there are so
many things that are minor, i.e. fence lo-
cation, shifting landscaping material, etc.
He advised if a list of these were what
council wished, he would be happy to pro-
vide one.
Councilman Meier suggested that he would
desire such a list, since Council had passed
the original PUD and would be more knowledge-
able of the amendments. This would not have
to be incorporated in the ordinance, but could
be discussed at a study session.
Director Rupp inquired if this could be done
without including the list in the code.
Attorney Joss suggested an administrative
list would be helpful as a reference for his
office and council.
Concurred with Councilman Meier's suggestion
regarding the list as it was a sensitive area
with Planning Conrrnission and Council is con-
cerned and he 1was confident that Director Rupp
would use caution.
Director Rupp informed Council that the list
would be compiled and presented to Council
for approval.
7. Conformance in 3 years for all non-con-
forming signs in the City - specifically by
April 1, 1984.
Inquired how people would be informed of the
time limit for compliance of signs.
Director Rupp advised that if the amendments
were approved by Council, every sign owner
or business establishement that is not in

Councilman Carnival

Councilman Fauson
