3/19/81

Page - 10 -

to let the home buyer know, i.e. that
they are part of a Homeowners Assoc.
that maintenance costs or other problems
will be handled by themselves - not
the City. He mentioned that if the
people at Continental View Estates
had been lmade aware at the time of
a contractor's sale, that the Mountain
Bell and Public Service Co. easements
and any damage done and if any repair
needs to be done, it is soley theirs.
The realtors thru the developers should
either by signing a waiver or part
of a contract to let the buyer know
what their responsibilities are when
they buy the home.
Director Rupp advised that he would
check with Craig Kruger of McStain
Enterprises to see if they are giving
any of this information to their pro-
specitve home buyers.

Councilman Fauson
Sewer Line on East St.

Asked if this problem had been resolved
with the RR.
Administrator Wurl advised he met with
a person 1iVith the RR and he did not for-
see any problem, and they are processing
a permit application and doesn't see
any problem with it.
Inquired if we had heard anything further
from Storer Cable TV?
Attorney Joss advised that he had talked
with Mr. Tennesson a week ago and he
reported that all the preliminary
engineering drawings are done as well
as a lot of the mapping for city is
complete. They are trying to finalize
a location for their office and studio
as this is where all the cables will
start from and signals will be sent out.
They were looking at 2 or 3 different
sites within the City and their people
from Houston were coming in to go over
these - then complete the contracts and
buy 1;vha tever property they decide on.
They still feel they can meet all their
construction schedules as soon as the
site is picked. They will even bring
in a temporary structure if need be.
It was his opinion the site would be
picked within the next week or so.

Cable TV
