<br />~J/!J J IS' -,.~ <br />~/8l U <br /> <br />Page -2- <br /> <br />COUNCIL COl1MENTS <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Beer Garden <br /> <br />Inquired of Attorney Joss if approval <br />would be for the liquor license only, <br />not the approval of the plans for the <br />interior of the building. <br />Attorney Joss advised this was correct. <br />State Statutes require that a plan <br />be submitted with the application. <br />He also advised that Council's main <br />concern should be with the zoning, <br />and in this case, it is.zoned correctly. <br />Councilman Fauson inquired would the <br />proposed beer garden plan be discussed <br />at a later date. <br />Attorney Joss advised that it \vould <br />be a special review use approval. <br /> <br />Council Carnival <br /> <br />Inquired of Richard Ross what evidence <br />did he have that needs of the existing <br />neighborhood were not being served. <br />He replied the atmosphere of the establish- <br />ment and to absorb the overflow crowds <br />from the existing facilities. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Council1l1an Fauson flloved that Richard <br />Ross's liquor license application be <br />approved at 732 Main St. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Fauson <br />Domenico <br />Cummings <br />Carnival <br />Notion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br /> <br />AUDIENCE CO~lliffiNTS <br />Betty Foos <br />Parkwood Subdivision <br /> <br />Inquired if the City had an ordinance <br />as to hO\l7 many people constitute a <br />family for one home. They were having <br />problems in their neighborhood with <br />loud parties, etc. and was asking what <br />the City could do to alleviate the situation. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings <br /> <br />Advised Hrs. Foos that amenili--nents to the <br />City l1unicipal Code were being proposed <br />regarding home occupation and perhaps <br />enforcement could be done by these and <br />our zoning ordinance. <br />
