<br />2/17/81 <br /> <br />Page - 6 - <br /> <br />SOUTH PARK <br />Director Hioco <br /> <br />Director of Cormnunity Services <br />Hioco advised Council, due to lack <br />of facilities Little League pro- <br />grams 1;l7ere unable to be expanded. <br />Funds ~l7ere uncertain from the City <br />to build South Park and Federal <br />funding chances were slim. In <br />the interim a tentative agreement <br />was made with Hr. Kruger to fund <br />South Park. If Council agreed, <br />the service expansion fees for <br />Parks and Recreation would be waived <br />and McStain Enterprises would <br />construct South Park at a cost of <br />$178,582.00. This would include <br />irrigation system, sod, trees, <br />etc. The park would be approxi- <br />mately 9.2 acres. <br /> <br />Councilman Heier <br /> <br />Mentioned that money had been <br />budgeted for South Park in 1981, <br />where 1;'lOUld this money be spent? <br />Director Hioco advised of 3 prior- <br />ities; Regal Square sprinkling system, <br />Parkwood improvements, and Keith <br />Helart Park. <br />He also advised South Park as <br />proposed should be done by June <br />enabling him to start 4 more <br />new Little League teams, as well <br />as Hiddle School, High School and <br />2 more Legion B teams. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #4, SERIES 1981 <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />City Attorney Joss read Resolution <br />#4, Series 1981 in its entirety. <br />He advised Council the condition <br />recommEmded by the Planning Commission <br />related to restriction on con- <br />struction of the area until the <br />Pine St. problem has been resolved. <br />However, the condition did allow <br />for 6 building permits. <br /> <br />AMENDHENT <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved to amend <br />Resolution 4, Series 1981 approving <br />the final Stockade P.U.D. Plan and <br />Final Replat to include the condi- <br />
