Attorney Joss informed Council <br />that there were two areas of zoning <br />within the parcel C-O, Commercial Office <br />and C-N, Commercial Neighborhood. <br />Mayor Caranci opened the public hearing <br />and asked if there was anyone present in <br />support of the application. None <br />Opposed - None. <br />Staff remarks - None. <br />Mayor Caranci closed the public hearing. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance <br />#703 Zurick Zoning be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilulan Meier. Attorney Joss presented the ordin- <br />ance on first reading and requested that <br />Council authorize it for publication. He <br />read the ordinance by title only. <br />Councilman Meier moved that Ordinance <br />#707 Creating Tree Board be put out for <br />publication. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the ordinance <br />were adopted, would only the trees speci- <br />fied be allowed. Parks & Rec. Director <br />Hioco stated - no. Reconnnendations would <br />be accepted for suggestions of other vari- <br />ties. <br />Inquired if we had a City Forrester. <br />Director Hioco stated he was designated <br />at the present time. <br />Councilman Cummings then referred to <br />section 14.20.120 of the ordinance - <br />if the trees that are planted in the park- <br />way disrupt the sidewalk whose responsi- <br />bility is it to repair the sidewalk? <br />Director Hioco responded that it would be <br />
