COUNCIL REMARKS Councilman Meier APPROVAL RESOLUTION #39, Series 1980 ADOPTING PERSONNEL CODE CHANGES 12/16/80 Page - 6 - Inquired why this specific zoning (Agri- cutural) wa.s requested by the Morman Church. Administrator Wurl advised it was his opi.nion because it permitted the construction of a church. Director Rupp advised that the members of the Church wished to have recreational type use of the land as well as construct- ing a chureh. They will be required to go through a Special Review Use hearing for the Church. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Attorney Joss explained the resolution dealt with the revitalization of down- town Louisville. Planner - Hike Randall had presented each of the Council members with a copy of a IIlemo describing the project and requesting Council's recognition of the Louisville Development Corp. as an agency for revitalization in Louisville, Planner Randall was present to answer any questions. Inquired if there were any additional drawings he could present to Council. Planner Randall explained that the drawings were submitted by a Colorado University student along with a survey that had bE~en taken, and to date these were the only drawings of the proposed project. It was his thought that in the future the LDC will come back to Council with a more definite proposal. Attorney Joss read the resolution in its entirety. Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution #38, Series 1980 - Louisville Development Corp. be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0.
