COUNCIL REMARKS Councilman Meier Councilman Fauson PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE #708 ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ATTORNEYS REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT PAY ESTIMATE #11 - CITY HALL REMODEL 12/16/80 -Page 8 - ance by title only and informed council the purpose of the ordinance was to update the wording relative to the Council's and Mayor's duties, update salaries to bring them in compliance with State Statutes. He then noted the various departments created. Dept. of Public Works Dept. of Community Services Dept. of Community Development Dept. of Finance & Personnel Dept. of Public Safety Re: City Clerk's salary - it was his suggestion that more discussion be held by Council. Council decided to make a decision at the budget sessions in October of 1981. Inquired if a new department of Finance and Personnel would be created by adopt- ing this ordinance. Administrator Wurl advised that the depart- ment had bE~en created but at last budget session the funding for the Director of Finance position had been cut. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance #708 -. Amending Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code, Revamping and Clarifying the Administrative Organization of the City of Louisville be put out for publi- cation. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Councilman Fauson moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Each councilman had before them a copy of the estimate for their review and files. The mnount of the estimate was $15,916.50.
