ORDINANCE {n05 TEMPORARY USE PERMIT FIRST READING ACCEPTANCE - CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT SUITTS TOWNHOUSES ?age - 3 - 11/5/80 Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance {I 704 be published. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. 110tion carried. All members of Council had before them a copy of Ordinance {l705 for their review and files. Attorney Joss read the Ordinance on first reading by title only. Council- man DelPizzo moved that Ordinance {l705 be published. Seconded by Councilman Meier. t<layor Caranci called for remarks. Council- man Carnival suggested that the ordinance be amended to read that temporary use permits be issued after review by the Planning Commission. A discussion was held regarding the time element involved. Attorney Joss recommended that inclusion be made in' the ordinance to read "Director of Community Development who will review the application and make a written recom- mendation to the City Council and Plan- ning COImnission," section 17.60.030 and in Section 17.60.040 "Within thirty days of receiving the written recommendation of the Director of Community Development, the Planning Commission shall review the proposal and make a recommendation thereon to the City Council." This wording will be sent for publication. Roll call vote - Fauson Yes, Cummings Yes, DelPizzo Yes, Carnival Yes, Meier Yes, Domenico No. Motion carried. Councilman Carnival moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. All in favor. Motion carried. In the absence of Administrator Wurl, Community of Development Director Rupp gave the reports. Director Rupp reported the density had been reduced from the allowable 28 dwelling units to 19 dwelling units. The develop- ment had undergone several design changes since first submitted in 1975. The current plan features 19 townhome units with detached garages.
