Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Question called for. All in favor. <br />110tion carried. <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a <br />copy of Ordinance {l705 for their review <br />and files. Attorney Joss read the Ordinance <br />on first reading by title only. Council- <br />man DelPizzo moved that Ordinance {l705 be <br />published. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />t<layor Caranci called for remarks. Council- <br />man Carnival suggested that the ordinance <br />be amended to read that temporary use <br />permits be issued after review by the <br />Planning Commission. A discussion was <br />held regarding the time element involved. <br />Attorney Joss recommended that inclusion be <br />made in' the ordinance to read "Director <br />of Community Development who will review <br />the application and make a written recom- <br />mendation to the City Council and Plan- <br />ning COImnission," section 17.60.030 and <br />in Section 17.60.040 "Within thirty days <br />of receiving the written recommendation <br />of the Director of Community Development, <br />the Planning Commission shall review the <br />proposal and make a recommendation thereon <br />to the City Council." This wording will <br />be sent for publication. Roll call vote - <br />Fauson Yes, Cummings Yes, DelPizzo Yes, <br />Carnival Yes, Meier Yes, Domenico No. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />In the absence of Administrator Wurl, <br />Community of Development Director Rupp <br />gave the reports. <br />Director Rupp reported the density had <br />been reduced from the allowable 28 dwelling <br />units to 19 dwelling units. The develop- <br />ment had undergone several design changes <br />since first submitted in 1975. The current <br />plan features 19 townhome units with <br />detached garages. <br />
