Minutes - page 13 September 18, 1980 SOUTH BOULDER RD. Councilman Carnival asked if the work is still being done on So. Bldr. Rd. traffic. Mr. Wurl reported that the City is working to complete the program. Councilman Carnival asked Mr. Rupp to make agency responses on annexation pro- posals available to Council when the matter is coming up, by requesting that their responses be made in writing for the record. AGENCY REPORT U.S. 36 STUDY Councilman Meier stated that DRCOG has completed the U.S. 36 study and they draw several conclusions. 1. No need for additional lanes on U.S.36 between Broomfield and Boulder 2. Superior interchange will need major construction by 1985 if the development of CVM proceeds. 3. Construction of interchange at 96th will not reduce the projected traffic volumns on the Superior interchange enough to eliminate the need for the major re- construction of the Superior interchange 4. If the CVM does not materialize, major reconstruction will still have to be done on the Superior interchange. POLICE MATTERS Councilman Domenico asked that the Police Chief instructs whoever car it is on Roose- velt with no tires gets it taken care of. Councilman Domenico asked that the building inspector check the garage that is being built off of Roosevelt. Councilman Carnival moved that the Council comments and committee reports be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man Meier. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF THE BILLS City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the amount of $152,975.19. Councilman Domenico moved that the bills be approved and checks issued for the same. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. Councilman Carnival stated that the bill under the Police Department under Beverly Hills Institute was not available and the City bookkeeper verified that it will not be paid.
