<br />LOUISVILLE DEPOT LIQUOR <br />LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> <br />MORMON CHURCH ANNEXATION <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />P ARKS CURFEW <br /> <br />FALL FESTIVAL <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />RESOLUTION NO. 29 <br />POW WOW SPECIAL USE <br />REVIEW AND PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />Minutes - page 2 <br />September 18, 1980 <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the renewal <br />application was in order and a list of <br />all police reports was included in the <br />packet. <br />Councilman DE~lPizzo moved that the Louisville <br />Depot liquor license be renewed. Seconded <br />by Councilman Fauson. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the City has <br />received a petition for annexation from <br />the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day <br />Saints, a Mormon Church for property owned <br />by them on the mesa north of South Bldr. <br />Rd. west of BSCS. <br />Mr. Rupp reported that staff will be recom- <br />mending agricultural zoning at this time. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved that the request <br />be referred to the Planning Commission for <br />further reviE!w and recommendation. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Domenico. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Calvin Rashall, 1445 Franklin Ave., stated <br />that there have been many disturbances <br />resulting from the shelter at Lake Park, <br />mostly from screeching tires and loud <br />voices late at night and he requested <br />that some type of curfew be placed at the <br />park or no parking after certain hours <br />be allowed on Via Appia. <br /> <br />Bob Ross, representing the American Legion, <br />stated that they will sponsor the fall <br />festival for 1981 and parade. They also <br />felt that the Pow Wow will not hinder the <br />fall festival celebration. <br /> <br />Mr. Ross also noted that the American Legion <br />is behind the Centennial Valley Mall deve1- <br />opmen t . <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the notice of <br />public hearing was published on September <br />3, 10, 1980. He noted that a copy of <br />Resolution No. 29 was included along with <br />a report and recommendation from the Plan- <br />ning Commission. <br />Mayor Caranci opened the public hearing. <br />Dale Marcotte, President of the Pow Wow <br />Board, spoke in favor of the request and <br />gave a brief outline and history of the <br />Pow Wow Plans. <br />
