Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Question called for. All in favor <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Acting Parks and Rec. Director Hioco <br />stated apparently there was a right-of- <br />way in the area of Lake Park for a trail <br />but the embankment was too steep. The <br />land belongs to the City and the people <br />want to landscape and improve it. A <br />license was initiated to accomodate them. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the Mayor <br />and City Clerk be authorized to sign the <br />license granting the persons permission <br />to landscape the embankment. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl reported that some <br />crosswalks had been painted along South <br />Boulder Road. He then stated he was not <br />certain that the recommendations given <br />Council on the signal lights were proper, <br />and the study will have to be redone. <br />Staff was not satisfied that the warrants <br />that were indicated in the recommendation <br />on the intersections were adequate. There- <br />fore the entire length of South Boulder <br />Road was reviewed and an overall recom- <br />mendation was to stripe the crosswalks, <br />the center islands, and stripe where the <br />road narrows from the base of the hill at <br />the trailer court to Highway 42. Some <br />striping would be done at the top of the <br />hill also. <br />
