LANDSCAPING LICENSE CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT - SOUTH BOULDER ROAD Minutes - Page 6 June 17, 1980 installed along Daly Road by the developer and cash payment will be made to the City for the paving. Attorney Joss read the resolution in its @nuirety. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution #24 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor Motion passed. Councilman Fauson moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor. Motion carried. Acting Parks and Rec. Director Hioco stated apparently there was a right-of- way in the area of Lake Park for a trail but the embankment was too steep. The land belongs to the City and the people want to landscape and improve it. A license was initiated to accomodate them. Councilman Domenico moved that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the license granting the persons permission to landscape the embankment. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Administrator Wurl reported that some crosswalks had been painted along South Boulder Road. He then stated he was not certain that the recommendations given Council on the signal lights were proper, and the study will have to be redone. Staff was not satisfied that the warrants that were indicated in the recommendation on the intersections were adequate. There- fore the entire length of South Boulder Road was reviewed and an overall recom- mendation was to stripe the crosswalks, the center islands, and stripe where the road narrows from the base of the hill at the trailer court to Highway 42. Some striping would be done at the top of the hill also.
