<br />Minutes - Page 6 <br />April 15, 1980 <br /> <br />DITCH <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival stated that the ditch <br />located by Sunland and Evans seems to be <br />developing into a big hole. <br /> <br />MINERS FIELD USE <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated tha the girls <br />on the Girls Louisville Softball team <br />requested use of Miners Field and were <br />turned down. The reason for this was ex- <br />plained by Mr. Stahl because there is al- <br />ready 35 teams and 280 games that are <br />scheduled between May 5 and the end of <br />August. Mr. Stahl stated that the team may <br />fill out a Facility Use Permit at the Park <br />and Rec. Office prior to when they want <br />to use the field. They are welcome to <br />use it if it is available. <br /> <br />ENCLAVES ANNEXATIONS <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked if there was any <br />response on the letters about the people <br />around the area regarding annexation. <br />Mr. Rupp stated that there was 11 responses <br />back, only three have expressed an interest <br />to annex. Two were at the corner of Main <br />and South Boulder Rd. The third one was <br />up at BSCS. They are going to send the <br />necessary information to these people. <br /> <br />TREES <br /> <br />Council asked about the Chinese Chestnut <br />trees. Mr Stahl stated that the trees <br />had been ordered. The 12 trees have <br />already been received. <br />Councilman Fauson stated that the Safety <br />Meeting Minutes were handled well with <br />the incident of the truck being twisted. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF COUNCIL <br />AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the Council <br />Comments and Committee Reports be accepted <br />and placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man Meier. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the <br />amount of $171,881.77. Councilman Meier <br />asked about the bill of Jinco Leasing Corp. <br />listed as Legal Services at $34,834.00. <br />Leon Wurl stated that it should be listed <br />as Legal and Finance Cost. <br />Councilman Caranci asked about the bill of <br />VWR Scientific Inc. in the amount of <br />$1,247.50 .Mr: 1\Turl stated he would <br />check on it. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the bills <br />be approved and checks issued for the same. <br />Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion <br />carried. <br />
