Council minutes - page 11 February 19, 1980 208 PLAN CONTINUED Councilman Meier stated that they did have some concerns when the lines passed through unincorporated areas. He stated that he would try to discuss the plan at the next DRCOG meeting. DRCOG PROJECT REVIEW POLICY Councilman Meier stated that a project review policy is up for adoption and he stated that it was his feeling that it is similar to the Metro Council and com- mented that he would like to have Coun- cils feeling as to how he should respond to the proposal. It was Council's consensus that Council- man Meier vote against the proposal. After discusssion Councilman Caranci moved that Councilman Meier be given the authority to vote against the Project Review Policy. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. 6-0 WATER Councilman Domenico asked Mr. Wurl to check into the water at 715 Rex. Councilman Caranci moved that the Council comments and committee reports be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man Domenico. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF BILLS City Treasurer Hesson read bills totalling $56,599.79. Councilman Meier asked about the salary under finance. Mr. Wurl reported that the salary includes some paid vacation which is allowed in emergency cases. Council questioned the $122 bill from Mike Randall for recording fees. Mr. Wurl reported the plats needed to be recorded that day and Mike wrote a personal check. Mr. Randall stated that he did not get a receipt, but would supply the cancelled check. Councilman Caranci asked about checks that were issued before approved. Mr. Wurl stated that very few checks are issued before being approved by the finance committee and that the committee is used mostly for making sure that the money is being spent correctly and the bills are valid.
