<br />Council minutes - page 10 <br />February 19, 1980 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />CONSORTIUM OF CITIES <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson reported that the meet- <br />was postponed due to lack of quorum. <br /> <br />SIDEWALK FRONT ST. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that Mrs. Carnival <br />had telephoned him about sidewalk that was <br />damaged in front of the apartments on <br />Front St. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he is aware of the <br />problem and the City has plans to fix it, <br />when the weather improves. <br /> <br />SO. BLDR. RD. <br />4-LANING <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked why So. Bldr. <br />Rd. was so zigzagged in and out. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that a portion of the <br />property is owned by the County, money <br />is tight and the City has a requirement <br />developers will improve the road as they <br />develop along the property. <br />~Ir. Wurl stated that as grants come in <br />the road is improved and since money is <br />tight they have to do what they can with <br />the money available. <br /> <br />MEDICAL FACILITIES <br />6 ACRE PARCEL <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked what the status <br />was for the 6 acre medical facilities at <br />the corner of Pine and S. 80th St. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he needs to meet with <br />Mr. Suitts who owns the property again. <br />He reported that he met with the hospital <br />board and there is a possible alternative <br />site if the 6 acre site does not work out. <br /> <br />SPRUCE ST. - DECKER <br /> <br />Councilman Meier reported that Mr. Decker <br />still has a mud hole where the new line <br />was put in. He stated that the culvert <br />that was across his drive has disappeared. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would contact Mr. <br />Decker and explain the situation and re- <br />port that as soon as the weather clears <br />they will begin repairs. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier reported that the DRCOG <br />meeting had discussed the proposed amend- <br />ments for the Regional 208 Plan. <br />He noted that Louisville had given a pre- <br />sentation regarding Superior being included <br />in Louisville's 208 planning area. Mr. <br />Pampu has responded stating that the plan <br />is consistent and they feel it would be <br />good for consolidation of the sewage plant <br />facilities. <br /> <br />208 PLAN PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENTS <br />
