L.U.R.H.A. APPOINTMENT LIBRARY APPOINTMENTS CITY ATTORNEY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY APPOINTMENT Minutes - page 3 January 7, 1980 Mr. Wurl reported that John Stead sub- mitted his lettering requesting reap- pointment to the LUIDIA Board. Councilman Domenico moved that John Stead be reappointed to a 5 year term on LUIDiA. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl reported that there were two recommendations submitted from the Library Board. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Janeen Randall be appointed to the Library Board with a 5 year term. Seconded by Coun- cilman Meier. Motion carried. Councilman ~1eier moved that Sandra Lee Richmond be appointed to the Library Board for a 1 year term. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl reported that 1 letter was submitted for the position of City Attorney, that being Bruce Joss. Councilman Caranci stated that he would like the position advertised in the Boulder Camera. After comments, Councilman Caranci moved that the City Attorney appointment be delayed until the first meeting in February. and an add be placed in the Boulder Camera. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. Roll call vote. Domenico yes, DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, Fauson no, Meier no, Carnival yes. Motion carried 4 - 2. It was noted that Attorney Joss will con- tinue as attorney until action is taken on the appointment. Mr. Wurl reported that a letter was sub- mitted from Curt Rautenstraus. Councilman Domenico moved that Curt Rauten- straus be appointed as Prosecuting Attorney. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Roll call. Fauson yes, DelPizzo yes, Domenico yes, Carnival no, Caranci yes, Meier yes. Motion carried 5 - 1.
