THANK YOU THANK YOU GUARD RAILS ON MURPHYS HILL SNOW REMOVAL EMPLOYEE PICKED UP FOR DWI Minutes - page3 January 2, 1980 Councilman Kilker thanked the present Council for their help and stated that he enjoyed working with them and would help out if he was needed in the future. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he en- joyed working with the present Council and wished the outgoing members the best. Councilman DelPizzo asked if there was any way the City could move those rails back further so as to give more room on the street. Mr. Wurl stated that they were installed by the County and also that there is no land behind where they are placed that they can be moved to. Councilman Caranci stated that he had complaints about the city plowing the streets and recovering the sidewalks. Mr. Wurl stated that the crew has been working to keep the areas clear and have plowed both in the center and on the sides and they are doing their best to keep the street clear. He stated that the City has four options on snow removal: plowing on the sides or the center, now plowing the side streets, or buying new equipment to haul the plowed snow away. Councilman DiCarlo asked Mr. Stahl if he had plans of suspending the party involved for the misude of City vehicles. Mr. Stahl stated that he has talked with the attorneys and felt that it would be best to wait until after the trial to take any disciplinary action, as any action taken prior to going to court may effect the outcome of the hearing. DiCarlo felt that the person could be suspended for the misuse of City vehicles. Mr. Stahl stated that he felt disciplinary action should all be done at one time and felt that it should be handled after the deposition of the case if filed.
