<br />THANK YOU <br /> <br />THANK YOU <br /> <br />GUARD RAILS ON <br />MURPHYS HILL <br /> <br />SNOW REMOVAL <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE PICKED UP FOR DWI <br /> <br />Minutes - page3 <br />January 2, 1980 <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker thanked the present <br />Council for their help and stated that <br />he enjoyed working with them and would <br />help out if he was needed in the future. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he en- <br />joyed working with the present Council <br />and wished the outgoing members the <br />best. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if there <br />was any way the City could move those <br />rails back further so as to give more <br />room on the street. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that they were installed <br />by the County and also that there is no <br />land behind where they are placed that <br />they can be moved to. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he had <br />complaints about the city plowing the <br />streets and recovering the sidewalks. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the crew has been <br />working to keep the areas clear and have <br />plowed both in the center and on the <br />sides and they are doing their best <br />to keep the street clear. <br />He stated that the City has four <br />options on snow removal: plowing on <br />the sides or the center, now plowing <br />the side streets, or buying new equipment <br />to haul the plowed snow away. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked Mr. Stahl if <br />he had plans of suspending the party <br />involved for the misude of City vehicles. <br />Mr. Stahl stated that he has talked <br />with the attorneys and felt that it would <br />be best to wait until after the trial <br />to take any disciplinary action, as <br />any action taken prior to going to court <br />may effect the outcome of the hearing. <br /> <br />DiCarlo felt that the person could be <br />suspended for the misuse of City vehicles. <br /> <br />Mr. Stahl stated that he felt disciplinary <br />action should all be done at one time <br />and felt that it should be handled after <br />the deposition of the case if filed. <br />
