<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />DECEMBER 18, 1979 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: DiCarlo, Berry, Caranci, Kilker, <br />Meier, and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Police Chief Munger, Dir. Com- <br />munity Development Rupp, Park & Rec. Dir. Stahl, and City Clerk Stahl. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved <br />the minutes of the December 4, 1979. <br />ml:eting as presented. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that enclosurers <br />bl: accepted and brought up under the <br />proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Di Carlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />WALDO'S LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the appli- <br />cation was in order and that the pro- <br />pl:r notices for the pub lic hearing <br />wlere posted. <br />Hayor Waschak opened the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Debra Duncan, Jim Kupfner, Ed Wickline <br />J,ean Matt, Ron Gentry and Chuck Grosso, <br />spoke in favor of the liquor license <br />r,enewal. <br /> <br />Mr. Louis Hickman, the owner of the <br />establishment stated that many of <br />the police reports noted were not for <br />active disturbances, but the police <br />were contacted in order to avoid a <br />disturbance from resulting. He also <br />stated that he did not feel reports <br />which involved the location of Waldo's <br />outside the building, should be in- <br />cluded in the reports. <br /> <br />There were no conunents against the <br />license renewal. Mayor Waschak closed <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council agreed that not all reports <br />should be included, but only the dis- <br />turbances that pertain to the estab- <br />lishment. <br />
